Summit G3 exhaust systems
If anyone is interested, there are two header-back exhaust systems from Summit Racing to fit G3 cars. One is the aluminised (sp) steel, and the other is stainless steel. 2 1/2 inch, mufflers (turbo) included.
The steel system is $219.97
The stainless steel system is $429.97
Kinda wish I would have waited & bought that SS system instead of what I have, which I custom built of stainless pipes & stainless Borla mufflers, H pipe etc, for my Elco
If I have to replace the system on my Malibu again, I think I'll go with the stainless stuff.

That's one thing I don't mess with anymore, trying to piece together an exhaust system. So much easier and less time consuming. Fits better, too

Yes, is was somewhat of a PIA ! I cut the tail pipes & had a friend TIG weld them together. The front sections came together OK though....I used band clamps, for easy dis-assembly. Good thing too, as I had to R&R the trans for pump seal leak ....

I used the Magnaflow stainless 2.5" system for 68-73 (yes, it really said 73, I was skeptical too) A-bodies. Only had to modify one tailpipe, and a simple band clamp made it a piece of cake.

x2, used the same system mostly because I like the sound of the Magnalfow. I had someone put it on for me but he said it went in pretty easy. I tried finding youtube videos for sound for other systems but there wasn't much out there.
